If you're unable to access your site, it could be:
1) The server is down.
You can log in and check the status here: https://my.9planetshosting.com/support/serverstatus.php
If the server is up, then there may be an issue with your site, or your IP may be blocked.
If the server is down, know that someone is working on it. We have 24/7 monitoring and on-site staff that checks all alerts. Check for updates at https://twitter.com/hosting9planets
2) Your site is down.
If the server is up but you can't access your site, you can use http://ismywebsitedown.com/ to check and see if your site is down for you or for everyone.
If it comes back that your site is down but the server is up, this means there is:
A) a high amount of traffic that may be overloading your hosting limits
or
B) a rogue plugin or some bad coding that is using up all of your hosting resources
Contact your web designer/developer or open a ticket and we can help you debug the issue.
3) Your IP is blocked.
This can happen at two levels.
A) Your WordPress security plugin may be blocking you if you entered the wrong password too many times, or if the plugin has broken.
If you are blocked by your security plugin, you'll usually see a white screen with a word "error" in the top left.
If you entered the wrong password too many times, you can wait 30 minutes and you should be automatically unblocked.
If your plugin has malfunctioned you can contact your web designer/developer, or open a ticket and we can help you debug the issue.
B) The server Firewall may block you for invalid cPanel or mail logins. Occasionally a plugin on your site can also cause a firewall block.
If the server Firewall has blocked you, you will not be able to pull up the site, it may "spin" for a while and your browser will give you an error.
If you think the Firewall has blocked you, open a support ticket and we can check it for you.
