Locked out of WordPress?

Problem:
You're using iThemes Security and you entered the incorrect password 3 times.

You're now locked out and can't even see the home page of your website.

Solution:
Wait 15 minutes - do not attempt to load any page on the site for 15 full minutes. Once this time is up, you should be automatically unblocked. At this point we recommend using the Password Reset function to reset your password so you are not locked out again.

Once you log in again, you can visit the iThemes Security page and whitelist your IP. Here's how:

Whitelist your IP

1) From the Dashboard of your website, hover over the Security option and click on Settings

2) From the iThemes Security admin page, find the Global Settings box and click on  the "Configure Settings" button

3) Scroll down to the "Lockout White List" field and add your IP address to the box (example: 69.84.21.123)

4) Click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the browser window

If you get blocked too many times, it's possible to get permanently locked out. If you're comfortable with cPanel and phpMyAdmin you can follow this article to remove the block.  Otherwise, just contact us and we can take care of it for you.
